Hello

Codeforces is growing very much lately and this is really exciting! Contests used to have 7000 participants when I joined, now they have more than 16000 and this is amazing! however to keep up with this dynamic number of participants I think it might be a good idea to add some percentile metrics during and after the contest.

For example, I used to have a construct that if a problem is solved by more than 1000 during contest then it should be easy. This metric is clearly wrong since it depends on the number of participants but I had this construct since this is what is displayed on the screen during the contest!

Another example is ranking: when you go and see your rank, being top 100 now is not the same as being top 100 before. I know that this is being taken care of when calculating rating changes. however, it would be cool if we can see during and after contest what is your percentile ranking.

So what I am suggesting is that it would be cool if we can have percentages shown on the platform for submissions or/and for ranking during and after the contest. I know one can calculate them by himself but I don't think anyone is doing it during the contest.
