» 5 months ago, # | ← Rev. 2 →   +15 Hello ! Perhaps I can help you in some of the 1400 rated problems : give me one exercise where you are stuck and I help you !
• » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 lastly i solved this https://codeforces.com/contest/1462/problem/D problem but not my own idea . i had solved this with the help of tutorial
• » » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 Can you explain to me your first approach before you got stuck ?
 » 5 months ago, # |   0 I think you should focus on solving 1100-rated problems quickly.
• » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 i solved 1100 rated problems As soon as possible i can .but in 1400 rated problem i got stuck at the beginning .
» 5 months ago, # |   0 check the numbers of submission as well for the problems it might be that you are trying to solve 1400 rating question with few number of solves (they will be difficult from my XP). Try sorting down by number of submission or try 1200-1300 rating question with fewer solves.
• » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 okey .thank you .
• » » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 just watched your submission list. I feel you need to focus more on Div2 C problem (I see few solve for them and more for Div2 A-B). It's either you solve Div2 A-B very quickly or solve Div2 A-B slowly but solve Div2 C as well during competition.
» 5 months ago, # |   +2 Solve problems in the 1300 to 1400 range. Solve about 50 problems in each range. Don't see editorial, if you are not able to solve just leave it for 2 hours and then again come with a fresh mind. If still not able to solve then see editorial and note your learnings. If you are able to solve 10 problems continuously on your own then move to the next rating range. My last secret trick Trick It's just hard work and consistency ;)
• » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 i had tried this very closely . i think ill do more .thank you .
» 5 months ago, # | ← Rev. 3 →   0 See what i will recommend you to wait for now and start giving virtual contests or contests to increase the speed on 1200-1300 .Once you become confident on solving these in contests, ur level will automatically allow you to take 1400 problems .This happened with me too ,but as soon as i reached 1200 mark, automatically I got the confidence for tackling 1400 (I used Arugo and used to sit for continous stretch of 80 mins until the problem is unsolved otherwise I used to see editorial )Arugo link (for ref) = https://arugo.herokuapp.com/list/AND BE PATIENT
• » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 okey.i had done 10-15 virtual contest. but last few weeks i didn't. Thank You Akpr.
» 5 months ago, # |   +23 I think you should learn more useful algorithms instead of practicing too many problems. Also, practicing is helpful, but as the old saying goes "one can't make bricks without straw".
• » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 could you suggest me some useful algorithms which will help me during contest or solving problems. thank you .
• » » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   +31 There is a useful site https://oiwiki.com/ .You can find many useful algorithms.But it is in Chinese.
• » » » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 i don't know Chinese.
• » » » » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 Emmm...I think you can use CF's tag like greedy,binary search and so on,and then use Google to find some blogs.
• » » » » » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 okay . thanks again fengzhengwei.

 » 5 months ago, # |   0 I am stuck at 1500
» 5 months ago, # |   +1 I see that you solved 68 problems of 1400 rating. Did you solve them using editorial or not? I think it's better to think about problem for days and not reading editorial, because there is really small chance that there will be something you didn't know about before.
» 5 months ago, # |   0 Feeling the same about 1800, just keep solving. Avoid seeing editorial for as long as possible.
 » 5 months ago, # |   0 I get stuck at 1800 haha ( Sometimes 1700 )
» 5 months ago, # |   0 I advise you to solve more divas 3 rounds. A group with all the rounds: https://codeforces.com/group/BHIkJm3DeQ/contests
• » » 5 months ago, # ^ |   0 thank you very much sdyakonov.insallah i will solve as much as i can .
» 5 months ago, # |   0 It is ok not to be able to solve X rating. That just means you have to do more of X rating to get better at it. Even if you have to read editorial that is ok because then you are learning from it. Just keep trying to solve 1400 rated problems and spend a lot of time analyzing editorial + other peoples solutions and you will certainly improve.
 » 5 months ago, # |   0 I am in the same condition. any advice please :(
» 5 months ago, # |   0 Keep trying man. You can , just don't stop. Wish you a good journy.
