CP4 is essentially an updated version of CP3 (i.e. CP4 is 4th edition, CP3 is 3rd editiion). I recommend getting CP4 if possible, especially because the problems listed in CP3 are only on the uva online judge, which has gotten progressively worse to use over the years.
