In my Facebook page I noticed e-maxx.ru in advertisement section,

e-maxx

Who else have e-maxx in advertisement section?

BTW you created the post in Russian so it is not visible for most of English-reading people.

So you can click "translate" and copy-paste text to English version to fix this problem

I think you can straigtly ask e-maxx whether he posted these ads and if so, then probably hint him that ads are shown in English interface too (probably he'll decide to target it more fine to avoid spending money on false clicks).

Thank you, now it is visible for everyone :). Maybe advertisement based on Location ?

My Facebook interface in english, but I am now in Kazakstan (Here many people understand russian)

Yes, I saw it in your profile when I was curious why your post is in "Russian" :)

You are pretty correct I think, Facebook offers targeting by location among primary choices:

      FB targeting specs

However I believe there is some option to target by language or locale in "advanced" section. This may be useful — for example, as I remember not all people (perhaps, especially young) in Kazakstan are fluent in Russian? Heh, of course it was suggested many times to translate e-maxx, but seems none of initiatives do went far enough...

It's funny how much this doesn't matter to me. First, I don't have Facebook, and even if I had it, I use Adblock :D

Yes, but that's not under my name and I didn't use it for anything else. I don't consider it my Facebook account (since it doesn't serve the purposes of one), just a contest platform account.

I work in Facebook and I advertise acm.timus.ru in my test ads :) I guess someone is using e-maxx for this purpose.
