Is it intended to have Codeforces Rounds in the same days of TopCoder SRM's ?!

I find it really annoying to have TopCoder SRM and Codeforces Rounds in the same day, I usually end up missing one of them because of both are held in a horrible time (at least most of them) for my timezone, I live in California, so usually there is an SRM at 4:00 am and then a codeforces Round at 8:30 am same day ?!

I'm wondering if there is a point behind that ?! as TopCoder Calendar is usually announced before Codeforces's one ?! I assume this is not a coincidence ?!

Of course it's intended! You participate in SRM, it becomes unrated, you feel disappointed and lose your rating in CF Round!

    I totally agree that recently topcoder has been really failing in delivering even fair quality SRM's, but I'm hoping for the best, I prefer being able to compete in more competitions even if some of them will be unrated.

A bunch of Div2 only rounds, all Div1 rounds at exactly the same time... It's like old codeforces all over again!
