I got one ehm question, suggestion, whatever you would like to call that. Is there any possibility of organising something like Programming World Cup, where every country would be represented by the team composed of 3(3 is just a random number) top rated coders(ofcourse, if they accept the invitation), and all the countries(atleast the ones whose coders would like to do that competition) would compete?

I know that there would be really lot work to be done, but I think that most of the coders(all, why not?) like this idea and want some kind of country-representing competition to happen.

I'd appreciate any feedback on this blog.

You might be surprised, but a competition like that already exists! It's called IOI (International Olympiad in Informatics) and you can find out more on this web page: http://www.ioinformatics.org

Afaik, IOI isn't a team competition, and my suggestion was to organize a team one, maybe I haven't mentioned it explicitely, I will UPD.

There should be a competition where there is no age limit, unlike IOI and ACM-ICPC which have a lot of constraints about college / school / age.

There should be a team contest, but like CodeJam / HackerCup where everyone can participate.
