Finally, I've solved 100 problems on Timus Online Judge!
It took me almost 5 years :)

Next goal is to reach 200 problems.
Hope it won't take me that long this time ;)

How is Timus Online Judge in terms of quality of problems?

Great if you have a lot of time to give to problems as the problems are of high quality but the difficulty of some newly added problems is not accurate and there are no editorials, no way to see test cases or others solutions.

Although you can see the discussion sections for help or google solutions people have uploaded in there Github account or in blogs.

Coming to your real question it is said that if you can do 500 problems on TIMUS then you have the ability to become Candidate Master so you can feel the quality of problems from this statement.

It follows the real spirit of an online judge which was made only for solving problems without any help.

I think it's better to give each problem 1-2 hour and if you have no progress then see the first line or a small hint from editorial then think about the solution and so on.If I have seen the editorial and I still can't code it then I would move to another question rather than seeing the solution and solving it.

        There are mainly two ways:

        1. Practicing by difficulty — it is the fastest and the toughest way to increase rating.
        2. Practicing Contest wise — like I would solve till D in DIV2 if was able to solve till C easily without caring about it's rating. This one if the most efficient way of increasing rating and it increases your ability to perform better at contest.

If you are facing difficulty in a particular category it is better to practice 100 problems from that of higher difficulty it helps a lot.

This is for CF but if you want to practice on TIMUS for this rating 250-350 difficulty would be good.
