Israel IOI 2017 Participation status

Hello codeforces!

As you may know, this year, the IOI onsite round will be held in Tehran as said in http://ioi2017.org/! and also you may heard that neither Israeli passport holders nor Iranian passport holders are allowed to enter the other country (no visa is issued!). so what will happen? Would Israel participate remotely or it won't participate at all?

As far as I know, Israel team will go to Innopolis, Russia.

Iran voted to unrecognize Israel's capital city. This level of hostility is unseen, something new. Of course they waited for IOI to pass because they better not expect to host any international event in the near future.

    If you are referring to the UN vote, more than half of EU voted the same. Besides, it's not like Iran could influence the time of the vote.
