Hi Codeforces!

I have finished my bachelor's degree in computer science a few months, and I intend to keep studying in a master's degree. I really like problems with data structures, and I would like research this topic or something like that.

So, What kind of new data structure do you think that need to be create for the future? What kind of problem would this structure solve?

That's not how research works. You may be really lucky and succeed this way, but that's not very likely.

What I suggest is to find your supervisor first. That will probably be your data structures teacher or their co-worker. Or you can ask around, because there are probably more data structure researchers at your university.

A good researcher will know what is out there to solve. What's more important, they will also know which of these is possible to solve and what tools to use.

Good luck with your master's degree!

Well, I don't have started yet my Master's Degree, so I don't know which university will be my choice (or which university will accept me). When I will enter, certainly I will ask the researchers about their researchs.

I have asked here, because codeforces community has a lot of good researchers as well, and maybe their could help me in that first step.

    Thanks for your answer!

You can message some of those researchers personally. I don't think they will mind guiding you a bit. Particularly, Darooha is quite active here, and he is a renowned researcher at CMU.
