Not everyone has time to do your lame and unrealistic contests. Not to mention he is a full time student at Trinity College, Cambridge — one of the best colleges for Mathematics. There is also no information on Google to suggest that he is interested in such stuff.
Not every competitive programmer has a cf handle. I know quite a handful who dont. Maybe because cf has be tainted by people who ask stupid questions like "help me debug this?", "Is it rated?", etc.

The relevancy of the question is in the eye of the beholder. Nevertheless, he made a question about competitive programming on a competitive programming website, so i think that´s pretty "on-topic" if you will.

He's apparently upset because I made an 'implication' I didn't even know I made. xD. I didn't really mean to imply all competitive programmers use CodeForces. I asked because we're on CodeForces. I guess he repeatedly read my statements till he found something to get offended by and make an issue.

There is a collapsed thread attacking ghoshsai5000 for asking about CF handle. I have no idea why this sometimes happens, but if you wish to see it, you can view ghoshsai5000's comment in page inspector tool and remove "display: none" from the child comment thread style.
