Instructions how to setup up Linux and Geany for competitive programming: https://github.com/Errichto/youtube/wiki/Linux-setup
An optional video that shows the process: https://youtu.be/ePZEkbbf3fc
I created this because so many people ask me about my environment and compilations flags. You don't have to follow exactly these steps or actually use Linux at all. Remember that 99% of your performance comes from skills so you should focus on that instead of worrying too much about tools you use.

Sounds like you have been approached by loads of greens, grays and cyans.
Colorless ones like you, creating fake accounts are the worst.
So what have you done having an original account? Nothing special I guess. Ratist.

Thanks a lot.
Wow, I didn't know about guake earlier now it's so convenient for me. Thanks for taking the time in making this.
Integrating vim with guake and this codeforces parser makes you a bit faster. You can switch between editor and problem statement fast and also test your solution using the parser (sample tests).
can't thank you enough <3
using environment && template of a red
gives a great feel and boosted :)

pretty disrespectful
I'm sure, Errichto didn't found it disrespectful, but smiled when he read that comment.
I found it boring.
Informative
Is it rated?
Sorry guys, I accidentally posted this on the wrong thread. My apologies
how can we add the CPP snippets in the geany as we do in sublime?
There is no easy way. You can open snippets.conf file and see how snippets are defined there you will understand :)
bullshit
Now I love coding on geany added your flags.
Thank you very much, but build and compile commands give me errors, if anyone could help me...
