This system kinda became old... new titles and colors would make Codeforces more colorful and fun. Titles and rating is one of the reasons that I study CS,but not only me... You may say "rating doesn't matter!", but rating is one of the main reasons that Codeforces has such a lot of users. In my opinion it would be great to add more titles and colors, for example between expert and candidate master, or between international grandmaster and LGM,because there are big gaps... also new title can be added, higher than LGM _ maybe up to 3500...

The earlier color revolutions happened because of serious problems in rating distribution (basically, inflation: before the second revolution, everyone and their grandma was a grandmaster already). But your reasoning now seems like "to shake things up". And in a few months after the rework, will you again decide that current titles are boring now and request another?

I agree that a rating system attracts and motivates users, but you don't explain why your rating system would be better at it than the current one.

I think a great feature of a rating system is that it's simple. The more titles you have, the less meaningful each one becomes. And the harder it becomes to understand which of the titles is actually a big deal. Becoming International Grandmaster is a big achievement. But it would not be one in a sea of titles like Mythical Grandmaster, Epic Grandmaster, Intercontinental Grandmaster and Galactic Grandmaster. Similarly, titles lose their meaning if the system is changed randomly.

I would maybe be okay with sub-titles like "Expert I", "Expert II" or something, but making a new title simply because there is a gap doesn't seem justified.

I am international master on my real account, so I want to be different color from just masters.

P.S we have rating inflation now, too. There are too many experts, what about setting expert border at 1700?

Well, I want free cookies (also, people probably would take an IM's suggestion more seriously, it seems counterproductive to post this under a newbie-rated alt).

Again, why? What is the "correct number" of experts? Or is there some criteria/list of skills that you think should correspond to "expert"?

In terms of "it is easier become expert compared to when the system was introduced", it's hard to estimate, but I don't think it is true. Looking at just the numbers, expert is one of the brackets that has seen the least growth:

Of course, number of users alone doesn't measure "difficulty to get into". There are other factors like "people are reluctant to participate in rated contests after hitting CM". But it is a decent enough approximation to say that there's no serious inflation.
