Set a threshold on voting.

When I go to a blog to see any talks on editorial what I see is memes and jokes on the top and the important things very down in the thread. So I request admin to set a threshold on voting ,i mean users with only a certain threshold ratings should be allowed to vote. You might also consider the age(by years or number of contest) to set the threshold.

Do you seriously think that there is a correlation between rating and maturity?

    I think there is a correlation after reading this blog and looking at someone's rating.

Age or rating might not be the right criteria, but there is definitely a need for filtering. We would like to come upon some genuine doubt or some useful information instead of memes and jokes. It is more fun to learn something new from people who are better than to laugh at useless memes.
