If I understand the question I can atleast try to solve the problem but most of the time I don't even understand the question.

Same for me. First thing I try is read it again. And again... After some time, if it still does not work, I put it into google translate. If this does not help either I choose a simpler problem, or if in competition, the next one.

I try my best to avoid problems with terrible English because I believe there are plenty of people in Codeforces who are fluent in English and authors who are not confident in their English skills should reach out to one of them. Problems with long statements are a different matter. For those problems, I reread the statement and try to follow the samples.

use google translate for words i mean you dont have to translate the whole statement. there are few words that you have to learn like integer, subsequence, subset, substring, ... i had the same problem when ive started
