Hello everyone,

As known, the date of IOI is approaching. So I assume that every country organizes some sort of IOI preparation camp for its national team.

I wonder, how is the process of the organization of an online camp in your countries?

Its good to note that atleast India is participating in IOI(not government regulated :)
All olympiads being conducted by government were cancelled.

In our country, one of our mentors writes a blog in Codeforces about other countries Preparation Camps.

Moldova does not even participate. That is sad as f. I know that on Codeforces no one cares, but this is such a shame and a proof that we have incompetent and careless organisers.

Ah my glorious country's government, just sending a big middle finger to all the students who prepared all year... I'm not even surprised at this point :/

Why not? Too difficult to arrange the local contest or some other reason?

I think it is easy to arrange a local contest in such a small country.

Probably, no one was interested in organising everything. I think, in the past years, IOI was seen by organisers as a free trip to a different country and now there is no trip, therefore no contest for the participants.

Maybe I am wrong and there are more issues, but I think they could arrange everything if they cared about the students.

The United States of America Computing Olympiad organized a training camp online, through Zoom meetings.
