I was elected to participate in Regional stage of All-Russian Olympiad in informatics. I know that most problems there are based on algorithms and data structures. Wouldn't it be bad for me if I start learning these algos now? Note: The olympiad will be hosted in Janury 16 2021 (in 46 days).

depends on the competition..seems unlikely you can master all the required dsa for Informatics Olympiad..but may be a good time to get started ..and then continue for other competitions.
