Why are contests being scheduled so rarely?

Aloha community!
This is the first time ever I'm seeing something like this happen.



P.S — I know how difficult it is to come up with problems and I respect that!

And also, most contests recently (in the past month or so) are during week days. As a high school student, I can't participate in those contests even if I really want to. I understand that a lot of people do not have such concern, but I think it would be the best to hold 1~2 contests during weekends per month.

And is it possible to make the starting time a little bit later? For Pacific Time is so painful for every contest to start at 6:30

I think codeforces reduced the frequency of contest in order to create quality questions.. even so for people like us who has a lot to learn every question made by GrandMasters and above is a quality Question... Therefore there should be no reduction in contests at least for div2/3..

Why is the author's name not mentioned in the coming contests? generally the author's name is mentioned along with the contests, right?
