Yes, but abhi_2001 could have contacted Mike directly. I doubt they'll delete the video because they literally said that '[they] want watch time'. I copied the Google Doc with the cheat solution to my account just in case though.

By this mass cheating their rating might increase but their skill will not change

Some HRs treat Codeforces rating as something that correlates with person's qualification, so people cheat on CF to get a job.

They might get shortlisted, but they won't get the job.Still they are taking the place of talented people during the shortlisting.

Even if, they get the job, do you think that they will stay long in that organization, with such an attitude? I guess such folks would be fired within a few months or during their training period, if they not meet the targets.

Exactly ,they'll learn nothing by copying and pasting and the people who actually try to solve the problems may instead get lesser rank ... this surely is a matter of concern..

We can clearly see from this link a submission of the person from which I identified his profile.

Take some action against this guy.

why in every contest we get to hear same things about cheating on youtube or on telegram. I don't understand whats the point of taking part in a competition which is meant for your personal growth .The owner of the video might be genius enough to solve the problem within the time and that too posting it within time. But this social work is of no use man trust me!!. please don't take part in such activities.

»

To be honest, here's my thought process. Since its a well known fact that cheaters are there, then now i have to prepare myself to answer first 3 problems in 20 minutes and solve atleast 5 out of 7 so that i maintain my lead. Cheaters can't solve all questions. That's where if u really solve problems can exceed by solving 5. They solve 3. u still rank better than them

There's a hidden power solver's have. Their appetite for problem solving and mastering concepts. All you have to do is 10 x your effort.

I hope you guys got this [PERIOD]

Cheating like this normally should only affect the lower rating pool. More reason to improve yourselves.

You can see that the solutions shared on youtube during the contest are mostly problem A or B of div2. Through this you can get the idea that they were unable to solve C problem. Also the max rating you can achieve by copying solutions of A and B after an hour of contest ( cz that much time will be taken atleast for the youtuber to solve, upload and then people to watch and copy ) will be 1200-1300.

But obviously this is unfair to everyone, and please I urge the codeforces community to not convert it into codechef. And people who think they can land a job with good rating, let me tell you, you have to undergo a coding test before sitting in a interview, which you have to give all by yourself and no youtuber will upload the solutions for it, so yeah go ahead.

The cheaters should watch this Good will hunting(Plagiarism). The real value of rating can only be understood by someone who is genuinely working hard and improving slowly, rather than cheating and getting a hike at their ratings.

cheaters should study harder to share solutions of more problems. Sharing just A and B is too poor to be a cheater, bro

Maybe we can ask CodeForces to make first 2-3 questions dynamic in Div-2.

The questions will be changing in every 30 Min and there can be timer running for this or a separate time frame for each question as per the difficulty.

This will really decrease cheating and promote healthy environment.
