Hi, I started CP just 2 months ago and half of the time I'm confused where to solve problems from after solving the daily tasks (I've solved around 80% of them). I set unrealistic targets like solving all binary search tagged problems under 2000 rating (of course I fail to solve it as they are too many) and then I switch to other platforms as I think they are better. I'm don't stick with one platform for long as I've an inner feeling that if I use other ladder or platform I'll get faster results. What should I do?

Hello codeforces community,

I'm preparing for interviews and online assessments for big tech companies. Unfortunately, in India, I have heard leetcode is not enough and problems generally asked in interviews are of hard cateogary (according to LC). So I was thinking of only solved binary search, graphs, DP tagged problems on codeforces as I think Constructive, ad-hoc problems are rarely asked in interviews? What do you think?

At my university (NUS), it is recommended for us to get the first part of CP4 book by Steven Halim. Has anyone tried solving problems from it or should I solve randomly from Codeforces problem set? I believe the problems in CP4 book are categorized so maybe it's better to solve from it rather than solving random problems here?

Thanks

I tried solving problems from Kattis Online Judge and Online Judge (UVa) but I'm barely able to solve problem A and B in codeforces Div 2 round. I had high hopes that I would be able to get good this year but it is not working out. I've been doing CP for around 10 months. I'm not able to approach C and D problems at all. They use some crazy dp bitmasking logic which goes over my head. Rant over

Hi, I aspire to become candidate master on codeforces. Is solving problems from A2OJ ladders a good idea? I'm wondering because some problems are like 10 years old and I believe the difficulty level of a particular rating would have been increased
