Let's discuss the solutions of all the problems. I am only able to solve A-Small and A-Large. I would like to know other peoples approaches for the other 3 problems. Also how should I prepare for it to get the rank below 300 in the next round.

  • Perform specific responsibilities which vary by project area.

Minimum qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Must be currently enrolled in a full time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship

Preferred qualifications

  • Graduating in 2017 or 2018.
  • Experience in systems software or algorithms
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux or Windows environment, and APIs.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP and network programming.
  • Excellent implementation skills (C++, Java, Python)

Hash Code is a team-based programming competition organized by Google for students and industry professionals (18+) across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. You pick your team and programming language, and Google pick a real-life engineering problem to solve. Are you up for the challenge?

The competition takes place over two rounds:

  • Online Qualification Round : Your team can participate from one of our competition hubs or from wherever else you’d like.

Date and Time : Thursday, 11th February 2016 (18:30 to 22:30 CET)

  • Final Round : Top scoring teams from the Online Qualification Round will be invited to Google Paris to compete in the Final Round of the competition.
