NothingIsImpossible's blog

Today I started solving problems of competitive Programming. I am following the method suggested by E869120 in his blog way of reaching from 1000-2400 here. He suggests solving Atcoder Beginner contest problems B and C for reaching 1400 rating. While solving I realised that there might be many simpler and faster implementations of problems than the ones i am writing. So I decided to make a discord channel where we can discuss the various ways of solving a particular problem and also ask our doubts. The link to the discord channel is https://discord.gg/ZNxEcyQ8rY. Please read the rules section once you land to the server!

If we aren't able to understand the problem's editorial and you are unable to solve the problem. Do we ask the doubt in the editorial blog or make a separate blog with the doubt. I also noticed that you can personally message people. So if we want ask a problem who do we message: The author of the contest or someone else....

Thanks in advance!

Hello Everyone! This is Aryan here. I am 14 years old. I am currently in 10th grade! I was looking out for Olympiads for students of my age and found out about IOI. I have no past history with any form of Programming (except for scratch and Q basic that we did in school).
To start off with I did a 9 hour c++ tutorial from basic to advance videoand also did a c++ certification on solo learn.
While looking for other resources I found out about codeforces so I made an account! I saw many people who had earlier given IOI and performed well in it are also present on the website and so I wanted to ask the experienced people and the ones preparing for IOI what I should do next.
I searched up on you tube and google and found answers guiding on starting competitive programming and not IOI in specific. Thanks in advance!
