What would you do when you couldn't think straight

Have you guys ever experienced a period of time where you just couldn't think straight, couldn't even solve a problem that you normally could solve?

If yes, what would you do when it happened ? How do you recover from it?

Additionally, what is the reason behind this?

yes, when that happens, I do what your CF handle suggests.

also, I think this would be a consequence of some kind of burnout. taking a rest is a good idea in such cases.

Hmmm, I wonder if it's possible to just continue solving problems until you find yourself back, at the end of the day, it might just be an psychological illusion.

Actually, oftentimes I read a task and go straight to the toilet.

The toilet is a magical place concerning creativity and peace of mind.

      As soon as I set up my desktop in the toilet it's no toilet anymore but a man cave. It loses its magic.

It's so sad for me since I cannnot solve some easy problems recently. As you can see, my rating and rank dropped during some previous contest. I'm also looking for some solutions. :(
