He/She took code from someone else, added the template code after every 3-4 lines in Original code so that plagiarism is not found in code. Cheating talent at its PEAK.

      The difference between 7* and 5* is the world and sky. The similarity of colors may mislead you to think that 5* is like master and 7* is like grandmaster. The reality is more that 5* is like cyan and 7* is like international master.

        If he can achieve global 41 rank on codeforces div 2 round just by his cheating contacts and talents then 6 or 7 start at codechef is not a big deal.

          I am expert on codeforces and 4star (missing 89 rating for 5star) on Codechef. For me reaching 5star is roughly equal to reaching candidate master.

                I think math is my weakest topic. Nowadays cc feels much more adhoc than cf, and I am very bad in adhoc(despite liking it the most).

              CodeChef rating system is way too weird.

              I've reached 5* as en expert, and fell back to 4* as CM, got back to my old rating when I was 2090 on CodeForces... So I was basically stuck at 1900-2150 range, while progressing from 1600 to 2100.

              I've left it and reached 6* (2270) when I dropped out of CM again :) Now with the rating rework I'm going down to 2150 again. So yeah CodeChef rating is not representative of one's skill.

Why plag checker can't simply ignore any line that starts from "//" or lines that're in b/w "/* */" ?

Is it difficult to implement this ?? This will remove 80 % of cheaters from this amazing platform.

MikeMirzayanov please implement this.

Unfortunately, making these blogs doesn't do anything as these cheaters aren't removed. I already exposed him with 3 others Blog. No action was taken. Also bored_kid cheated again in today's contest. I request MikeMirzayanov once again to look into this issue and ban these cheaters.

    That would be against the rules he agreed to when registering for the contest. See rule #4 here:

    It is forbidden to obfuscate the solution code as well as create obstacles for its reading and understanding.

      That's correct, but my point was more focusing on it not being provable beyond all doubt that he reached his rating by cheating (copying code). You could say making your code hard to read would be a form of cheating, but it wouldn't be the difference between a low raing (relatively) and his rating.

Since we are discussing cheaters (or are we ?) Please take a look at loverboi69 and my id . My div 4 submissions have been skipped . If i was cheating i would have solved all of the problems . I made an honest effort and got 3 questions right and submitted them .But the system messaged me how the other guy has same code as me . Only thing i can think as to why he has same code as mine is the fact that i gave the contest from a public library with open wifi . Can computers be hacked this way ? . Please help . I dont want any contest ratings back . I can always give new ones and improve rating .But please take action against this loverboi69.

What about 1_2_3_4_5_9 and all his alt accounts like 14_15_16 and 10_11_12? They have a group and do cheating together as told in this blog. Moreover 1_2_3_4_5_9 is not giving contests anymore, using his 10_11_12 account now. I think they are planning to create 5-6 candidate master profiles XD

    Agreed. I didn't want to say it publicly, but why is it that all "cheater busted" blogs look like they have been written by 5-year olds, full of weird unfunny jokes or strange angst. It's as if you don't want to be taken seriously.

    Why are "I GOT HEART ATTACK" and especially "DEAR TOURIST" necessary? Why randomly write C++ comment syntax in a blog post? Sentences have terrible grammar, no punctuation. Random words written in all-caps. One sentence ends with an underscore. Also the claim that he could get top-1 is pretty ridiculous, the number of people he could cheat off of decreases exponentially.

    What would be wrong with writing a post like this.

    Noob_coder_042003 always puts blocks of comments full of unrelated code between every 1-2 lines of real code: look at these solutions for example: 158216594, 162804537, 161201924. It seems very likely that this is to evade plagiarism detection. He has already reached 1931 rating using this method.

    Please look into this matter.

Nowadays, people are selling solutions for codeforces on telegram for as low as 0.5$/30.Rs. Most of the times, its the Indians(NO OFFENSE, INDIAN MYSELF HERE), who do this, and the reason being, they think CP ranking==GREAT JOBS. I have seen majority of my classmates in college, do this. Spend 100Rs./1.5$ approx, to get answer for A,B,C sometimes D in contest.

So, they just cheat till specialist/expert, and then you will see majority of them quitting altogether, cuz that was their target all along....I myself was bad in contests, so took some break to practice on codechef/cses/atcoder and some other websites before returning again. Learning is the main objective, rankings comes next. The fact is, these cheaters believe having these fancy colors on resume, makes them stand out, which infact does work. Sadly, this really gets them an interview call, and we all know in interviews, no such CF level question gonna be asked, which ofcourse they will be able to ace.

WHAT A TWISTED WORLD.... :(

    Wait for real? You can get 1.5$, per person, per contest, just by sharing the solution of problem A, B, C in a contest? So, if like, 60 people paid for your service (which shouldn't be too hard if you know how to market properly), and there's an average of 2 contest per week, you would average out 10000$ a year just from working like 2 extra hours a week. And it's not like you have to grind crazily for getting to that skills level either. A gifted dude can easily solve A, B, C in under 1 hour after being in CP for 6+ months. Bro why is it so easy to make a living out of lazy people nowadays? We are living in a society, a twisted one...

      I know right..it's really a stinky way to make money off of people. But, I think they target people who just want some ranks(EXPERT/SPECIALIST) most of the time. And then, these cheaters just stop giving contest and just keep solving practice problem's. This way, they get rankings+Knowledge of CP.

      Some take cheating to the next level. I have this one friend in my college. This bastard, paid to get to CANDIDATE MASTER, and now he displays this rating on his linkedIn, while legitimately giving contests without cheating from his second account, just like a genuine person would.

      This way, he is gaining knowledge, from second account and showcasing his fake ID on LinkedIn to attract RECRUITERS. And mind you, Indian tech RECRUITERS are really biased for these colors...
