Petition to shift Codeforces Round 812 to Sunday.

We have Biweekly Contest and CF #812, both on Saturday at the same time. And, then we don't have any contests (as of now) till 10th August.

So I think it would be nice to shift CF #812 on Sunday, to let us enjoy both contests in the weekend.

Why downvotes guys ?

I think it's a valid petition, because this Sunday we have no contests, and I realised this after Cook-off disappeared from CodeChef contests list, few days ago. Downvoting this blog will remove this from recent actions, which will not be helpful for anyone.

So, please vote this up so that it can at least come up in recent actions.

I'm not free on Sunday

Anyways, even if I was free to coordinate the round on Sunday, it is very unreasonable to ask contest organizers to shift the dates of the contests 1 day before the contest. The contest has been scheduled 2 weeks ago at the very least. Why do you make the petition only now?

    Previously August Cookoff was scheduled this weekend on Sunday itself, but then it disappeared from the contests list on Codechef few days before, so as of now Sunday is free for many of us.

    Can you at least postpone the round by 1.5 hours? In this way, we can enjoy both the contests

    Haha, actually requesting to shift biweekly is a bit odd, because they have fixed schedules every weekend. But, that doesn't means I place biweekly's over CF rounds.

    In fact, I will choose to write CF #812 in case of a clash.

Biweekly and CF rounds have clashed many times in the past. Why is this round so special that they have to move it ?

    Because most of the times there are some other rounds on Sunday, so it's not possible to avoid clash, unlike this Sunday.

    But anyways, now it seems there are no chances of shifting. Will have to sacrifice any one of the rounds!

    It's not about comparison, which is better or not. Many of us want to give both contests. It's just a request to postpone the contest by some duration so that we can attempt both the contests without any sacrifice.
