Text editorials are also available only for Pro users (after 1 day), is it intended or a bug?

Since when did editorials become something to make profit off?

Codechef has really gone downhill over the last year or so. Constant cheating, falling quality of questions, and now the final nail in the coffin for me was Codechef Pro.
You want to monetize your platform? Fair enough. Codechef pro introduced new features with it like WA debugging and Curated problem lists, personalised doubt resolving, which was well and good, but editorials? Really?
It advertises itself as a educational platform as well but if you reallyy want to learn then buy Codechef pro? Nope. I'm good.
I just find it funny how Codeforces is moving to things like introducing community courses and building the Catalog while codechef is doing this...

The written editorials are available for free for all, and that will not be pay-walled. It's just that on the problem page, it is directly accessible to Pro users. But anyone can go to discuss, and search for the problem code and find the editorials for free. Pro just saves you those couple of extra clicks.

We would prefer not to have even such inconveniences, but situations force us to do so.

because codechef rated rounds are not as frequent as codeforces. atleast for DIV 2. i need to be very careful to miss these rounds.

Right. I know people downvote when it's not rated for div.2, but it seems it was rated this time, that's why I asked.
