Contest Postpone??

I think DIV3 Contest on 18th of Dec. Should be postponed, are we really missing the World Cup final??

I agree. Given the immense popularity of football and this being the biggest footballing event that happens only once in 4 years, I don’t think it is fair to both the writers and participants of this round to keep it at the same time as final. The participation would be lower, not doing justice to the efforts of the contest writers. Especially given that we are having 5 contest in a row, a date change might be better, though a time change also suffices.

i too support postponement of the round and if that is not possible pre pone the round to an earlier time, maybe keep it in the afternoon like they usually do which is around 2 pm in the afternoon(talking with indian region reference )

Unfortunately, we cannot postpone it since it is based on an onsite competition which is held on the same day. To make sure that the problems don't get published on the Internet, we have to conduct it exactly on Sunday.

I have no interest to watch World Cup final missing div-3 but one thing I am literally concerned about is the noise around my house of people because of their excitement for wc final

Yeah, I think the round should be postponed to another day because most of the participants are going to watch the world cup final, and there will be lots of noises during the contest because of the match. So, I believe that postponing the contest will be better and will satisfy every one.
