Demotivation and loss of focus. People see the position I am at now and assume that all was smooth sailing but they ignore hundreds of times I failed before those. Each failure was disappointing, some more than the others. After not qualifying for icpc regionals last year I felt so disappointed that I stopped practicing for some time. There were other times also when I was an expert and wasn't able to solve even 2 problems. All of these demotivated alot.
I would like to thank my awesome friend circle who always motivated me to move on after every setback. Also taking short breaks helped me.
The concept of 'taking short breaks' really a good.thanks a lot for your kind advice.i'll try to follow !
My hectic college is the only obstacle for me.
Those unnecessary courses is always a obstacle.i can feel you :(
My hectic college is the big obstacle for me.
I think Negative thinking (I am not able to do it)... and I am trying to remove it from my mind. I think when it removes from mind I will be able to improve myself. That's it
I do not have inner obstacles. I wish I solve problems every time. But lack of time and energy do not allow me to solve more than I would like.
fear from the future and being busy in alot of not necessary stuff which makes me rarly practice also "constructive algorithms" i really suck at it
Refusing to learn from math olympiad problems.
Hi, I started CP just 2 months ago and half of the time I'm confused where to solve problems from. I set unrealistic targets like solving all binary search tagged problems under 2000 rating (of course I fail to solve it as they are too many) and then I switch to other platforms as I think they are better.
I'm don't stick with one platform for long as I've an inner feeling that if I use other ladder or platform I'll get faster results.
