Dear all,

I would like to host a private contest using Codeforces. However, I would also like to avoid CF being down due to maintenance. How do people deal with this? Do you maybe know how much in advance maintenance is announced?

This is going to be a 2-person team contest. I plan to have 70-100 teams. So, I am wondering whether there is a way to generate accounts for them automatically. Do you maybe know whether it is possible and, if yes, how to generate?

Thanks.

Same question. How can I register multiple domain accounts to my private contest automatically?

Just write a script to generate random usernames and passwords. When you create a custom contest there's an option to add a list of users with usernames and passwords in a certain format. You can copy paste the list there

I did this a while ago so I don't remember the specifics, but it's very very simple to do.

Afaik for private contests like this you usually need a subdomain for the contest on Cf.
