Educational Round 149 Rating Changes?

The recent educational round 149 has a serious mishap. If anyone wishes to explain this, I would be utter grateful. I received a rating update to expert for 1602 (attached proof) and this rating maintained itself for 4-5 days after. But today, I’m back to specialist. The rating update is still there but my points have been deducted by some value. Is there some new rating system that occurs a week after the final standings and changes too? Can someone shed some light on this? I have attached a proof pic of one of my friend who attended this contest, even his ratings got updated but instead of a decrease he received few extra points? What sort of a system change is this? I assume if plag checks happen after a few days and some users are removed from the leaderboard then shouldn’t there be an increase in mine too? Why the decrease?

Cheaters are removed and new rating is calculated. Your rating changed because the standings changed

    But the rankings is same as before. And my friend’s rating increased but I faced a decrease in rating. Why?
