I'm so confused , in the 2013 Asia rules they said : Team can bring up to 25 pages of printed materials with them

In the ACM-ACPC Arab regional rules Don't forget_ you can bring_ any printed material to the contest: Books, notes, listings, whatever you like as long as it is not in an electronic format.

BUT in the finals 2014 rules may not bring any printed materials

So what ? can we bring any printed material or not ?

And what about NON-printed material , earplug , food , drink , pillow ? nothing mentioned about them .

Rules for the regionals and finals are actually different (at least in the Latin America regional they are), so you shouldn't compare two different sets of rules.

I'll speak only about the finals, which I've been to:

  • You are allowed to bring a Team Reference Document, which is essentially 25 pages of printed stuff (but organized: pages numbered, containing your team name in every page etc)

  • For non-printed material: it has to be presented during registration and inspected by the ICPC staff, who will put that material on the table in the contest day if they think it's OK. A pillow is probably OK, food and drinks are already provided by the organization, and you might have a bit of trouble getting earplugs accepted.

Thank you very much , that was really helpful .

So can I expect that non-printed material is unlimited , because I summarize what I study on a notebook ,hints, codes, algos, steps for solving , debugging ...

i don't think written notes are allowed at all. except, ofcourse, the notes that you prepare during the competition.
