girlfriends9

Nyaruko

kiss_me

KingTon

Memset137

QLSpirit_001

maybe i am wrong but it is obvious that they are Div1 participants depending on what they solve !! now if we eliminate these participants we will get the TRUE standing .

1 — buptcjj

2 — ladpro98

3 — linjek

4 — RetiredAmrMahmoud

5 — rureggaeton

6 — win_ay39

7 — kalimm

I don't know, i can't really understand the enjoyment of such actions.

I need a div 1 participant tell me what is the gain of doing this? do they feel like victors or something?!

I think this phenomenon has to be stopped before we find the top 500 new comers!

kalimm (7th in ur "true" standings) is not completely innocent. he has fake accounts (FakeErdem, FakeErdem2) too!

3-4 months ago, I was ignorant, I didn't know "fake account is bad and forbidden". After learn this I haven't use them.

Advice : Never use fake accounts, because they're stupid.

The key point is that for Div.1 participant, there are much more opportunities to hack in a room full of Div.2 participants, so they can get more practice in hacking....

Do you have any actual evidence? Registration time as the only piece of evidence makes no sense at all. Isn't it usually the case that a new contestant only registers at the site when they actually want to take part in a contest? I opened the standings of the last contest somewhere in the middle, found the first ~20 newcomers, and more than 10 of them also registered within hours, at most a few days before the contest.

It isn't really possible to get real solid evidence, but what are the chances that out of top 10 official contestants, 7 will be completely new (this round was extreme in that, but 2-3 such people are found commonly in div2 only rounds) and that these excellent contestants usually don't visit CF ever again? IMO very small.

Some IOI contestant looks at codeforces, checks it out to see what the fuss is about, doesn't like it, leaves after 1 contest. If you looked at my history in mid 2013, it'd look just like those "fake accounts".

No, you did 2 contests in a short time and another one after less than 2 months, which isn't that long (at least it feels like an awfully short time to me). Fakes don't do another contest, ever. I picked 2 div2 only contests from 1 year ago: [contest:http://codeforces.com/contest/339] and [contest:http://codeforces.com/contest/336], and found 5 such contestants in them on average (4 and 1).

I do not understand why people exeggrate this issue. Ok, this makes some people unhappy and demotivated (including me) who are struggling to rise to Div. 1. But it is no big deal, let them satisfy their ego and just enjoy the contests.
