Codeforces FTP down

Hello everybody,

As the new school year is apporaching I started creating some personal training competitions for me and friends, and as usually I used codeforces gym as it is very easy to use, however I can't seem to upload any contest on there. The wizard can't connect and manually opening the FTP still doesn't connect, so I'm supposing it's down. This has happened before and it got back on in a day or two, but I was just wondering why does this even occur and is there a way we can know when will it be back up?

Obviously the website functions alright at the moment, but the FTP doesn't. What could be the cause of that and how often does that happen?

EDIT: Started working now, still wondering what causes those periodic stops?

EDIT 2: And it's down again and then up again..

Please, try now again. Also if you use FTP-client be sure it uses passive mode.

    MikeMirzayanov I tried using ftp to add questions to the gym while using passive mode but it doesn't connect... Is it down??

    Please clarify :-) we have been trying to host a contest in gym, everything is completed on polygon and we are unable to add problems. Thanks in advance
