      It's a very strong team, but there were other exceptionally strong teams in the past, at least on paper.

      Tsinghua's 2009 team featured ACRush, Zhuzeyuan and Zhou Yuan. ACRush is, well, ACRush :) He and Zhuzeyuan were 1st and 2nd place finishers in Google Code Jam 2008. Zhou Yuan was the winner of IOI 2005 with perfect score.

      ACRush alone would already be a favourite to win. Still, they shocked everyone by 'only' getting 6th 2nd place in the finals. A lot can happen in a single contest.

      I'd probably consider this 2009 team stronger than this years team, at least on paper.

      I share your admiration of this year's favorites from China, but IMHO there was few teams (even except Gennady's teams and team, mentioned by mogers), comparable in strength to Deep♂Dark♂Fantasy at their time. I list few of them below.

Can someone re-update the colors please? One relevant thing about this table is you can gauge the skills of the teams by their colors. That's no longer the case when you see Xray green for example.

          And it makes perfect sense to downvote them because it's their fault that the rules were changed. SMH.

          We know we didn't earn the spot but we will try to fill in and represent our country to the best of our abilities.

          Sorry it turned out this way, we didn't ask for this to happen. I don't think it will justify whatever has happened but we were just 1 rank behind you in the Kolkata regional. We are going to go all out with our training and we hope we can fill in your shoes.

            I never said it is any contestants' fault, what has happened. There is no reason to lash out at each other.
