ACM ICPC World Finals 2016. Phuket, Thailand.

Harvard University team: Johnny Ho (random.johnnyh), Scott Wu (scott_wu), Calvin Deng (dnkywin), Jelani Nelson (coach) (Robert L. Walton, Coach). Team got 3rd place (gold medal) and became North America region Champions.

Main contest.

What is it? Scott Wu communicates with an outside adviser? Team has more than three participants?

I don't understand what you're trying to show. It seems perfectly fine to me. When do you think he cheats?

You know sometimes there is a thing called a "joke".

How to realize that this is sarcasm in only 3 steps:

1- the blog's title is abnormal and isn't suitable for a serious blog (credits: Pepe.Chess)

2- this guy's rating is high so his iq > 0 (credits: Pepe.Chess)

3- There is a comedy video at the end (which is really weird type of comedy by the way)

I replied with a serious manner because this was either not a joke or a joke that is simply not funny.

Well regardless funny or not, I don't see how this could be a serious blog. I mean the guy is legendary grandmaster for god's sake. He's obviously messing around with them.

Watch the video in the end of the post (start from 1:23). It's a scene from an old Soviet movie showing a student trying to cheat at an exam.

By the way, I don't know if anybody talked about this before or not. There is a team from Chulalongkorn University that got the first correct submission in 11 minutes and didn't solve anything else after that. Isn't that a little bit suspicious?

If that's meant to be serious — that's absurd.

If that's meant to be funny (more likely) — it is definitely not.
