The Northwestern European Regional Programming Contest 2012 was held today. The problem set is available on the NWERC site. Are there any Codeforces members who where onsite?

Me, Chortos-2 and Peteris were representing University of Cambridge and got 4th place. Although it is a gold, I doubt it will be enough for World Finals, as there is only 1 guaranteed place and last 2 years only 3 teams went through. But we had not a big gap, so maybe someone will get generous at IBM, but I wouldn't count on it.

Haha. You were the first team to finish problem D. We were second (only a minute behind you). :) But overall, we were 25th, which I think is pretty good considering this is the first time Iceland sends a team to NWERC (or any other onsite programming contest regionals for that matter).

Bath (my team) entered for the first time last year and got 46th place. We entered again this year and came 5th... Will we see Reykjavik take -16th place in 2013?

Is the problem set been added to somewhere so that we can practice?

I think it will make sense to have just the 8 point teams go to the finals. Even though I deeply regret not getting B accepted in time and ending up in the sad 7 point group :-/

I was really impressed by the online contest system provided during the event. My thanks to the organizers :)

Yeah, exactly. And the onsite contest (and everything around it) was well organized and just excellent overall. The organizers did a great job.

Been there! For me, it was a great experience because it was my first onsite contest and our team got 6th place :)
