GCJ platform 2018 Is this site closed ? Can anyone access it ?

The scoreboard and the problem statements in the new website took much more time to load for me (~30 seconds). Because of that, I used this site in Round 1A to quickly access the problem statement.

I think Google saw that using the old platform is an advantage and decided to close it.

Why don't Google close the new platform instead and return to the old one :( ?
