Today is ICPC in India but still codechef can't get rid of 500 internal server error Contest should be held on cf instead

Edit:Weak test data in SUMOR problem

t=1, n=3, array=20,12,19

20|12|19 = 31 12|19 = 31 19 = 19 31+31+19 = 81 The correct answer is 81. testcases are weak for this question.there are many solution which give 79 and still passes the testcases.

Codechef is not capable of hosting a contest of such high stature It can not even handle <5000 teams let alone > 10000 users on codeforces contests

As far as I know, this problem occurred only during the first 10 minutes. Have you never had any difficulties opening the problems just after a contest has started on CF?

    Agreed, but they always try to keep alternatives like m2. This time CodeChef explicitly mentioned that PDFs will not be given. Were they not aware of the heavy load that might occur if 4400 teams (*3 people) refresh the page at the same moment?

    Regarding the SUMOR problem, Codeforces test their problems very well, and also accept if there are weak test cases (I remember them deleting a whole problem from a live contest, and then declaring the round unrated). Will CodeChef agree that it was their fault, will CodeChef rejudge or delete the question (making it unfair for those who solved)? Why does CodeChef cannot handle a very important contest which is just held once a year, while Codeforces successfully manages 95% of the times, holding contests twice/thrice a week?

      making it unfair for those who solved.

      I don't get it, how it's unfair to delete the problem, if you submitted the wrong code. It imo, is more unfair to those who knew of this corner case and wasted more time on this problem.

        Agreed. But its still unfair for those who got it accepted. If they had got a WA verdict in the midst of the contest, wouldnt atleast some of them could have found their mistake, corrected it and submitted the correct solution (if it exists) and get it accepted?

        What is the most fair solution, I dont know, nor does anyone. Waiting to see what CodeChef does.

          What about the teams who left the question left the question thinking about the same corner case it must be deleted / more test cases must be added.

          "Submitted the correct solution". How could one get at correct solution (which is defined as the solution will pass irrespective of test cases) when the setter's solution itself was not correct?

          Link

          And rejudging the problem would not be unfair to the teams who got this one accepted. Because if their solution was correct it would definitely pass the added testcase also.

        yes. I agree with pshishod2645. I wasted the whole 3 hours behind the same shit. You can see in my submissions. I submitted a solution to this question in the early 15 minutes only. With the same maximum one logic. Got wrong due to implementation error. Corrected it. Stress tested it. Got wrong. Wasted all 3 hours behind the same question.

          Did your team solve every problem but that one? If not, it's your own fault for getting stuck like that, don't ever do that in a team contest.

      is there any clarification from cc admins regarding question as of now? why do cc always want to hide their mistake instead of cf who openly admits its mistake '
