Does anyone know if the host for EJOI 2020 has been found?

If I remember correctly our leader at EJOI 2019 told us next year's EJOI will be in Serbia.

    From what I heard it was planned to be in Serbia, but after the competition in Slovenia most delegations (including Serbians) were quite angry because of the competition organisation and so it became uncertain. Could be outdated information, but last time I heard it was still an open question.

      I've heard many gossips, but I'd love to hear something like "Hey, I'm ABC from XYZ and we will be organizing EJOI next year".

        I don't wanna get into it because I have only second-hand information, but most summaries I heard were that the accommodation and entertainment was perfect, but the competition was really bad. There were problems with some task(s?) and some questionable decisions (something like running the system and competitior's machines on distributed raspberry pi's). Additionally the scientific committee apparently stayed in a different city, which I'm sure enraged people as it comes off as negligence if there are issues with the tasks.

        I was personally contacted about a week before the competition to help with the problems, so I suppose I am partially at fault, since I couldn't do much in the short time frame, but I got the impression that people were quite infuriated by the organiser's attitude rather than just the issues.

        Again, second-hand information so someone who's been there is free to correct me in any way.

Hi, I also did the eJOI 2019 (I was in the French team). According to our leaders, most countries wanted France to organize, but I do not think it will be organized there this time. According to them, it should be in Russia or Bulgaria once again, but I believe nothing has been decided yet.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia has sent a letter to the founders of EJOI that they are willing to organize this year's edition of EJOI. As far as I know there aren't many more candidates for an organizing country that is why I strongly believe the founders will agree with EJOI 2020 being held in Georgia.
