Is there any way to delete comments?

I checked one of my previous comments and found that the reply on that comment was missing.

I checked the profile of the guy who had replied and it still exists. I am sure that there was a reply on my comment but it isn't present anymore. I mean the profile is there but the reply isn't.

So is there any way to delete comments on blogs?

You can do this only for 5 minutes(as I remembered) from the moment you posted your comment. And if 5 minutes had gone, there is no way (there was 15 minutes instead of 5 in previous version)

    But in my opinion it's not really good, as many CF's members have a wish to delete some silly comments they posted long time ago

        It will Increase the complication, since if a comments gets deleted then all the comment in reply to that comment also need to be deleted automatically, and contribution of those comment author also need to be recalculated.

        and at last it can be misused like someone get heavily downvoted can delete the comment so that he doesn't get penalized in terms of contribution.

        so i think 5 min option is best.

There is a delete button show up in few minutes from original time you post the comment. After that you can edit only. So if you feel something wrong in your comment, you can edit to Deleted
