Hello codeforces, I am the guy who spend more than 4 hours on the codeforces, But not solving problems, seeing Recent actions, standings, tourist's rating and other top coders most of the time. Someone would say, "It's rediculous", but I do. Any suggestions?

Giving me upvotes should be a nice way to waste your time.

TLDR; block the keywords "standings" and "profile" from url using a browser extension.

It's quite frustrating. I also used to spend time this way on codeforces.

The first step to not doing this is realizing that you do it, and that it should not be done.

But the problem is quite simple, and the solution is simple as well. All you have to do is "not do it".

But that is very difficult I know.

So, to avoid yourself from viewing people's profile and standings, I'd suggest you block the keywords "profile" and "standings" from the url, using a browser extension. This way, the extension will not let you visit these pages, and you'll immediately know, that you're going off track.

LOL My favourite pass time is also stalking people on Codeforces. Now after gaining too much experience :p I can easily identify people by looking at their codes.

I think it's pretty normal, but not 4 hours. But like any addiction cp addiction can be stopped by just ending it all at once, or by lowering your dose day by day, may be even stop at a healthy dose, a one that motivates you to get to a higher level.
