i apologize if this sound weird to you, but recently i was checking standings of recent contests. and i noticed that many 1680 something rated people were getting -ve rating change even at ranks like 1100, if i am not wrong just 3-4 contest earlier this rank was good enough to cross 1750.
Also specialist around 1550 are not able to become expert even at ranks like 1500,
is the participation some factor? or maybe codeforces change something internally?
Can we please bring back old rating system ?
Rating change also depends upon no of participants. Last two contests had around 8k only.
Round 680 was having unusual timing so less participants is understandable, but i wonder what's the reason for less participation in today's round

I think the cause was absence of candidate master participants.

For me, why so much more rating gain recently? I only solved an equivalent to D1A and D1B and predicted +166 delta change.
Wdym? I gained 82 rating in today's contest!
