If you analyze the posts in-depth, you'll notice that the master rated person provided much more info than you did, like how much contribution Monogon's at, how much is Errichto at, from which round did this happen, even the link to it!!! Also, not to mention he put some effort in the picture he posted whereas you just put a screenshot.

CLEARLY, those upvotes were all deserved, whereas you should have been banned for making such a useless post.

Conclusion: if you care about contribution, I think you should be pretty careful with what you post and comment, especially if you are under CM... because of ratism, you will have a higher chance of getting downvoted. This carefulness doesn't apply only to funny posts/comments, but also sometimes when writing an opinion/suggestion or asking an actually good question.

        What’s your definition of “meaningful blogs” then? Of course, educational blogs like the ones Errichto or SecondThread wrote are very helpful, but the thing is, not everyone has the ability to do so. I feel like this blog is just fine.

the fact is that if you shitpost at low rating you get punished, it's deserved. if you shitpost at high rating you get ++contribution, which is undeserved, but you better not shitpost at low ratings and don't get no --contribution

This doesen't meann nothing. See, I posted this blog, and it got 100+ upvotes. I posted the exact same thing 5 hours before and it got -30 upvotes. The only thing I changed was a note at the end saying that I was resposting it because it got hidden. The number of upvotes from a blog doesen't only depend on your rating. It will also depend on comments and when you published it. The first time I posted that blog, someone downvoted it, and people consequently started downvoting it too. The next time I posted it, I had many comments and many upvotes. Exact same account, the only thing that differs the blogs are the time they were published.
