What is the real meaning of life

We are all getting older day by day. We are loosing our childhood so easily. I cannot understand how life works. Any ideas? What is your ultimate goal in your life?

See, as an atheist, I don't think there's any greater meaning in human life. I don't believe in afterlife or rebirth stuff. So I am perfectly aware of the fact that, once I'm dead, it's over. And my conclusion from this, just keep doing what makes you happy. At least that's the meaning of life for me XD.

Some people may have goals, like doing something great like Albert Einstein and be remembered forever. That's also fine. Also having such a goal will help you keep moving forward. And that's a really great thing, considering how harsh life can be at times. So goals are necessary in my opinion.

PS: Your life is different from others, you don't need to follow other's perspective of life. Just find your own way which you won't regret.

Real meaning of human life, and basically endgoal ideally is to experience the cosmic consciousness aka God aka whatever you call it. But while you are here, make the best of it, live the best life possible.

life is a treadmill to ultimate death. You can either live your life seeing at the emptiness and nothingness and worry what lies in that darkness or you can just turn your back to the darkness and just live your day doing something maybe cheering with fellow runners or anything idk. If you ever feel overwhelm about life just turn back and see the emptiness.Alternate your view, front or back, on this treadmill and one day your marathon will be over.

Nothing, absolutely nothing.

You can do great things, you can do horrible things, but here's the kicker; if you hadn't done them someone else would have so your personal impact on life or society is basically 0. It doesn't matter if you did it, it was going to be done anyway. Ideas are immortalized, but not people, never people.

even if you had impacted the world in such a way that can't ever be done by anyone except you ( which is impossible) then it all winds up to soul crushing nothingness. Wars are forgot, peace never lasts, hunger is an everyday occurrence. You may solve world hunger for a day, two days, or for 5000 years; there will always be people who are hungry.

To top it all off, you can't “ make meaning to life” like a lot of people claim because we're tainted with the laws of nature. We're all murderers, we're all kind, and we're all selfish pieces of shit. When you see a lion eating a gazelle and thinking to yourself “ why are the rules of the universe so unforgiving? “ remember that both of these animals behaviors is deeply integrated in your mind. You can't escape it, it's a part of you more than your arm is a part of you. If you don't respect the brutality of the lion and the coward behavior of the gazelle then you don't respect yourself. Applies to humans. If you don't respect murderers and cowards then you don't respect yourself because you're both.

I can see the arguments now on the comment section, but i will say this. We all killed ants for fun as children. We eat meat and if we don't eat meat then we eat plants an kill those. Every thing about us screams out murder. No matter how much you try to convince yourself that you're a higher form of existence, so you deserve to live whist others deserve to die then you clearly don't know that you're an animal who can talk and build stuff. Different tools for survival, doesn't mean we deserve to live more than they do.

I wish i can give you some bullshit about life being a gift or that its something to enjoy being a part of because we only say that to comfort our naive selves. We know we didn't choose to be here. We know we're violent pieces of shit, we know. We fantasize about killing people we don't like just because. We watch gore videos online. We let our children kill each other on call of duty. Ultimately, our brains will do what it does best… survive. It will protect us from the truth about our existence and pump us full of dopamine when we eat chocolate to remind us that life is “awesome”.

We will not accept that our existence is meaningless and the fact that we despise ourselves, so we make up stories like we have since the beginning of our existence. We simply can't accept that the conclusion to our lives is a shitty one even though everything we know about life so far has been shitty. Our human minds try to save us, but the reality of the world fails us and that means the reality of ourselves does too. We're too afraid to tell ourselves that we don't want to play anymore so we try to make the best of it, but existence will always fail us no matter the odds. If you find yourself resorting to meaning, just go to a hospital and see terminally ill children. Whatever reason you had to think life is ok will vanish. Meaning of life is survive, adapt and reproduce. This meaning is for bacteria. You are interested in meaning of intelligence: by performing computations avoid constriction of phase trajectory volume (produce negentropy). It could be done in various ways, mostly by impact to civilization culture.
