penalty of any resubmission/wrong submission can only deducted from the solution which was attempted

Basically .. the penalty ie, negative marks -50 will be deducted from that problem only. if i do 4 penalty and not get right of that question .. then it will not affect my previous problem..? See below image .. the overall point i get is 482 or 482-200??

It happens if resubmission is successful (i.e. passes all the pretests + previous hacking attempts). In this case, the previous successful attempt would be considered as a reason for penalty"

    this is not i am asking ... like in image .. i have 200 penalty so, the points will reduce form my correct answer of that problem.. or overall rating..? wheather the 2nd problem right or wrong does not matter ??.
