Hello codeforces! Please advise a keyboard for fast typing and programming. Maybe you use ergonimic keyboard like this, or maybe you think your gaming keyboard is great? The price is not important, because there are familiar bandits who can get anything. Please write the name of the model, and better attach a link to the manufacturer's website or store.

Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter from a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and everyone's valid opinion, I honestly believe that Windows virtual keyboard is the best. the one where u click on a key to type it.

If i am going to be honest with you ,in my own humble opinion without being sentimental of course, without offending anyone who thinks differently from my own point of view, but also by looking into this matter in distinctive perspective ,i would like to say i have nothing to say.

Why buy a ergonomic keyboard when you can make your own?

In my opinion gaming keyboards are not so good for typing purpose. For me low profile keyboards did the best job. Logitech has some good products like : MX Keys , k380 , k375.I wanted to buy Red dragon karura which has an awesome configuration. But it is not available in my country. I think apple magic keyboard and logitech k380 has some awesome configuration for typing and they are super silent too. But this is my very personal opinion. I have seen many coders and youtubers using RGB gaming keyboards for fast typing.

I have the Karura 502, but I left it in college dorm. Been a year since I last typed on that thanks to Covid. Great Keyboard.

The one you feel comfortable typing with.

I use a mechanical keyboard, but if you don't like the clacky-ness, you can always opt for a silent one (Red switches or Brown switches).

To type faster, it doesn't depend on your keyboard as much, rather the speed you can think at and practice.

I agree. I type at maybe 30-40wpm, but I can usually code a solution to a Div2 A or B problem in under 5 minutes. Getting the solution to a problem almost always takes the majority of the time solving a problem, rather than coding it (unless you take half an hour to debug like I do). Also python comes in handy for quick submissions!

I use Corsair K70 — Cherry MX Red, my typing speed according to typeracer is ~ 120WPM. It's silent and awesome keyboard.

Typing practice for programmers

Try to learn touch typing with normal qwerty keyboard. Once you start using a particular keyboard on regular basis, you will get faster with time.
