I am just curious to know the age of competitive programmers in codeforces. Are all coders in the range of 15-25? Is their any Coders who are married but still giving every contest because of passion of coding.

it must be hard being married and participating in contest at the same time, or not.

AtCoder Ranking also has a birth year column.
This doesn't answer your marital status question though

I'm sure that all of the top 10 here are unmarried.

Some Chinese junior-highs can be even more competitive than senior-highs and college students . Such talented persons , like Qiuly , is not so few in China.

They're forced by their parents to do competitive coding among other things. 23 Chinese disagreeing??? They don't want to be reminded.

Maybe their parents pushed them to start but I'm pretty sure they have tons of internal motivation for it too -- you don't just become a master because your parents want you to, you kinda have to like doing it yourself too.

Are you sure? Maybe they're forced to do it because of their parents 24/7.

Nah...i don't think so...i think that chinese parents give more importance to the gaokao or IMO than the IOI .

Note : I'm not Chinese. Please correct me if i'm wrong . I've come to these conclusions based on what i've read.

It doesn't mean that they don't care about the IOI as well.

well , i guess you are correct, but i think that people who are forced to do CP would never reach the level of some of them...

Welp, I am married to CP and we like to do it everyday. Sometimes we do it 24x7 without a break. Fortunately we have a child together, we have named him 'rating'.

I'm certainly not unique in this! Petr or Um_nik are married too, as far as I remember. But it's very kind that you remember about me, lord Anton!
