TeamsCode Summer 2021 Online Programming Contest

Hello Codeforces! TeamsCode (https://teamscode.org/) is excited to announce the Summer 2021 Online Programming Contest! The contest will take place on Saturday, July 31st, from 1 to 5 PM (Pacific Time). Teams of up to 4 members will have 3 hours to solve 15 problems. This competition has three divisions: Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced, so no matter what skill level you are in, there is a place for you.

Difficulties: (cf ratings of problems) | Novice: <800 — 1500 | Intermediate: 800 — 2100 | Advanced: 1200 — 2600 |

The problems were set by codicon, willy108, Charles, Sol, Alex D, and Harry. Special thanks to PurpleCrayon for valuable feedback.

The contest was organized by jli505, exopeng, Aayush, Alex N, and Jay.

Over $1600 of prize money and raffle rewards are up for grabs, including Amazon gift cards, Discord Nitro, and Spotify subscriptions as prizes for top contestants! Only Middle or High school is eligible for prizes, but all can participate.

      Yea, I have heard codicon and willy108 can solve extremely hard problems and can write extremely good problems, so I think the problems will be very high quality. Make sure you check it out, and good luck to those participating!

      The contest is mainly aimed toward US students and the organizers feel that the afternoon is the best time. Sorry that we can't shift the timings :(

It was a lot of fun setting problems for this contest. Although not in the announcement, our three favorite gyrating cats, Peach, Goma, and PurpleCrayon all appear as part of flavor text! PurpleCrayon orz!

    Sorry for the confusion! Only middle or highschool is eligible for prizes, but all can participate. We've updated the blog and logistics document so hopefully it's more clear. Thanks for pointing this out! :)

I'm sorry for some bugs with the problems, namely 11 on advanced (I cant spell the name), cooked fish hard, and teleport. Nonetheless I hope you enjoyed the round!
