We were given 7 problems(DIV-3)
1. FIND THE DIRECTION
2. The Two Dishes
3. Obtain the Sum
4. The Grid Fill Problem
5. Positive Spewing
6. A Counting Problem
7. ATM Queue

Not just this, people were simply discussing the solutions in the respective groups.
The sixth problem was solved by about 10 people in Div-3 and 40 people in Div-2 . Hence it doesnt have any leaked solutions...
So , for someone who gives the contest seriously HAS to solve the 6th problem so that his/her rank is not affected by this cheating which is really very difficult for any beginner who has started just a few months or even years ago... Hence I seriously dont understand what should we do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What are the point in organizing these contests and investing so much money and resources in organizing them ??????????????????

Till this it is fine... But this contests has become a buisness for some people.. Some were asking Rs 50(about 0.7$) per problem in Youtube & Telegram per user.. In fact some were even offering CP classes by giving there number etc..
I SERIOUSLY THINK CODECHEF SHOULD STOP CONDUCTING THESE CONTESTS ... BECAUSE MOSTLY PEOPLE(in india especially) HAVE TURNED THIS STARS AND RATING INTO BUISNESS AND SELLING CODES. IT'S A SHAME AND CODECHEF SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS...!!!!!!!!!!!

Codeforces is way way way better than Codechef .
No website can be 100% free of plagiarism .
At least Codeforces do plagiarism checks sincerely after every contest.. At least people who cheat and submit just by changing variable names are caught.
CODECHEF DOES NOTHING !!!!! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !!!! NO CHECKS AT ALLL !!!!!
Also at most 2 problems are leaked on Codeforces for a Div-2 round and that to at the end (last 20-30 minutes) .People can solve quickly and there rank won't be affected by these cheaters... And here 5 out 7 problems are leaked and that to very quickly .. You can see the timings in the screenshots. The contest started at 8:00 pm and by 8:34 3 problems were leaked ..

I just got the 154th rank in div2 and am feeling low because of your post, instead of searching for the solution you should have focused on solving the problem. ig you didn't even participate in the contest.
Can you share your codechef profile. Really weird to see a person getting >8K rank on codeforces and 154 rank on codechef!!! You can barely solve two questions here and such a huge jump when giving codechef contests. Weird Weird Weird.
my codechef profile. Even on codeforces, my best rank is 667. In the previous global round, I solved 4 problems.

All those who are doubting my capability, you are right; but I had not cheated. Somehow my ((n/2)*(n)) solution passed the system test. I don't know-how, it should result in TLE. But this is not my fault. Please stop calling me cheater, it is seriously affecting my mental health. I repeat I had not cheated.
Be honest to yourself don't care what people say, you already know if you are doing cheating or not so, don't get affected. Just keep grinding ;)

bro, this guy is 1800+ in codechef and on codeforces he is not even 1100 , is it even possible ( even after giving 60+ contests). Either you are an idiot or he's your cheating partner.

Excuse me for my opinion, but Codechef earns money through ads through publicity and sponserships. The only reason many people (including me) do Codechef, is because of the contests and not because of community or practice. Taking away contests essentially takes a good portion of the money that Codechef earns. Additionally, Codechef should take no responsibility for the community's actions if it isn't encouraging a community of cheaters and is publically shunning cheating. This might be an overestimate, but I'd venture to say about 20% of Codechef participants cheat or illicitly participate — we're seeing the tip of the iceberg. Don't get me wrong — I condone cheating entirely. However, should we care about that 20% if many people also do Codechef in order to get better?
I think you meant "condemn" not condone because condone means to support or to accept which makes no sense in this case.
This is what happens when some youtubers lures people by saying that they can become 6 star on Codechef / Candidate Master on Codeforces in 3 months or so and once they do so , they get awesome package and all that stuff.This is the major reason that these people are cheating so badly and in codechef for e.g. u go to the submissions page in last hour and you will find most of the solutions have almost same execution time and memory.And after the contest what you see is that all those submissions were exactly the same. I have seen some people in my college sharing solutions by dividing questions among each other and then submitting at different times to make sure they don't get caught and even sometimes they submitted same code and still not caught by plagiarizer. It really sucks man , online judges must find some alternative or a stronger too to catch them asap to clean this mess. To all the cheaters remember u can never feel the joy of solving an amazing problem yourself.(Triggered Cheaters downvoting it lmao XD)

Codechef was really a good platform till beginning 2020. Plagiarism was not a big issue then.Many highly rated users used to participate in the contests
Then some famous "Bhaiyaa" made those videos
"Google Summer Of Code (GSOC) — Get any job at Google"
"5 star @Codechef — Wildcard to FAANG " etc
after which all these nuisance started. The submissions increased drastically and it became difficult for Codechef to do all the Plagiarism checks properly.People are doing literally anything for rating & stars .
I know many people (from my college) who don't even know how to write a simple line of C++ code properly and they are already 4 star coders on Codechef
I genuinely think these blog posts are advertisements for these site and servers pretending to be condemnation. Like they literally show the channel names and server links every time. They even link to the websites just to make sure it's easily accessible to anyone wanting to cheat. This blog isn't going to reduce cheating by even one person, but it will almost surely increase it by at least one person by literally handing them the sources.
Small edit: They are literally showing how to find a video with ZERO views.

Just simple search on Google/Telegram/Youtube etc giving the problem and the contest name and you will find a ton of these websites and blogs
You can do it yourself during any Codechef contest...

Questions, what do you hope to accomplish with this blog? Do you think Mike can just message those people and kindly ask them not to share solutions or perhaps you want Mike to spend time and money suing them? What is the solution you propose to this problem? Invalidate the code? Most people usually alter code to their coding style to avoid detection and a lot of others might have really similar code, more similar than the people who actually copied it, since problems often have an intended solution that most people use and only a small percentage of people find creative ways to solve problems. So I ask again, what do you hope to accomplish with this blog?

If you gonna care about your rating, rant about cheaters, you are not going to make it anywhere

I won't hesitate to say that the mindset and model of society are horribly wrong in my country. Nobody is born a cheater and I believe that it takes courage to be a non-cheater and not to give in to such temptations when 5*/6*/Expert/CM is being flashed regularly as the entry to Product Based Companies in general.

You won`t get a job if you fail to clear the coding rounds of the company irrespective of whether you are a 7 star on CC or a LG on Codeforces. Hope these people would understand this one day.......
Look at the image having instructions to submit code. How dumb he is. He even does not know that preprocessors, variable name, empty lines are not checked to detect the plagiarism.
