Confusion about the rating change system.

I have recently participated in the Educational round 114 and this is how I did: https://codeforces.com/contest/1574/standings/2/participant/120510677#p120510677

this is the standings of another user whos rating is higher then me: https://codeforces.com/contest/1574/standings/2/participant/120565167#p120565167

My rating is lower then his and I did better then him yet he gained more points.

Why did that happened.

( BTW no hate towards zmj2008AKIOI )
