I know that I will surely know the result in a few days, but the suspense is really killing me! Due to the educational round not being rated yet, I'm not sure if my predicted rating gains will be enough to push me past 1600. I currently stand at 1411 rating, and the rating predictor extension predicts I will gain 54 rating from the educational round and 172 rating from today's Div 3. However, the 54 rating I gain from the educational round will deflate the 172 rating from this round. If someone could help me with the rating calculation I would really appreciate it! :)

Sorry for the question post, but I've spent 2 hours on the recent Div 2 B (1786B - Cake Assembly Line) and it seems I just don't understand the problem statement. Correct solutions to the test case:

1

3 3 1

3 10 25

7 23 27

return "NO," but according to my interpretation, it should be "YES". The dispenser at position 7 gives chocolate to the cakes at position 3 and 10, and the dispensers at position 23 and position 27 give chocolate to the cake at position 25. Also correct solutions don't seem to consider at all the case where one dispenser covers two cakes and two dispensers cover one cake. Is it mentioned somewhere in the problem statement this won't happen?

Could someone point out the flaw in my logic/interpretation? Thank you!

I really appreciate the work contest authors put into the editorials for contests, but some of my favorite editorials have had 2 features that set them apart:

1.

Hints

2.

Problem Feedback: It shows that the author cares about feedback on his problems and lets me know if other people struggled in similar topics that I did.

I appreciate problem feedback

I don't appreciate problem feedback

I don't think these features require that much effort but they really improve the editorial reader's experience in my opinion and I would like to see more editorial authors incoporate them into their posts.

Usually I try to hold myself accountable and always do my best on a round, even if that means submitting when I almost certainly know I will lose points. The only exception to this was last round, because I am within 3 points of teal and would very much like to see it. I'm curious about other peoples' strategies, would you submit problem A if it took you 30 minutes to solve it? Or would you submit problem A if you are almost certain you can't solve B or C?

I always submit and try my best

Sometimes I skip rounds to preserve my rating
